Your Ender-3 V3 KE throws a heating error halfway through a print. Or the nozzle reads 220°C but the filament barely flows, and the clog keeps coming back no matter how often you clear it. When the heater, thermistor or nozzle on a high-speed hotend starts to fail, chasing individual parts can cost you days of printing.

This genuine Creality hot end kit replaces the complete heated section of the Ender-3 V3 KE hotend in one assembly: ceramic heater block, heater, thermistor, heat break, nozzle and silicone sock.

Fit it and your KE is back to factory heating performance, ready to print at full speed again.

Genuine Creality Part 4001030130 | Fits Ender-3 V3 KE | 60W Ceramic Heater | Up to 300°C | About 40 s to 200°C | Up to 32 mm³/s Flow | Complete Assembly with Sock and Thermistor

Who the Ender-3 V3 KE hot end kit is built for

Small print farm operators

KE printers on a farm run long hours at high flow, and the hotend is the part that wears first. Swapping a complete kit is faster than diagnosing whether the heater, thermistor or nozzle has failed, so a machine is back in the queue the same day. With one kit on the shelf per few printers, a failed hotend costs you an hour, not a batch of 60 PETG phone stands.

Engineers prototyping in technical materials

The Creality Ender-3 V3 KE 3D Printer handles ABS, ASA and nylon at up to 300°C, and those temperatures age a hotend faster than PLA. A fresh kit restores accurate temperature readings and full melt capacity, so your settings behave the way they did when you dialled them in. Print a set of ASA enclosure brackets for outdoor testing with the same dimensional repeatability as your first prototypes.

Hobbyist Makers fixing their own printer

If your KE shows a heating fault or keeps clogging, this kit lets you fix it at home without sending the printer away. Everything that heats and melts filament comes pre-assembled, so you swap one unit rather than handling loose wires and tiny parts. Fit it in an evening and print a full-size cosplay prop overnight.

What sets the Ender-3 V3 KE hot end kit apart

Heat-up times that keep you printing, not waiting

The kit uses a 60W ceramic heater wrapped around the melt zone instead of a single cartridge heater pushed into a block. That design heats the nozzle evenly and quickly, reaching 200°C in about 40 seconds. In practice, you spend less time watching the temperature climb between prints, and the hotend recovers faster when high-speed moves pull heat away. Even heating also means the filament melts consistently across the full flow path, which keeps extrusion width stable on fast perimeters.

Flow to match the KE's top speed

The KE is rated for printing speeds up to 500 mm/s with Creality Hyper PLA, and speed is only useful if the hotend can melt filament fast enough to keep up. This kit supports up to 32 mm³/s of volumetric flow, the figure the KE was designed around. A worn or partially blocked hotend loses that capacity, and you see it as under-extrusion, weak infill and gaps in top layers. Replacing the full kit brings the flow rate back to factory specification, so your existing slicer profiles work as intended.

Temperatures for engineering filaments

Rated to 300°C, this hotend covers the full range of materials the KE supports, from PLA and PETG to ABS, ASA, TPU and nylon. The bi-metal heat break, made from titanium and copper alloys, keeps a sharp boundary between the hot and cold zones. That limits heat travelling upwards into the filament path, the main cause of heat creep and stubborn clogs when you print hotter materials or run slow, detailed sections in fused filament fabrication.

Every heated part replaced in one step

Heating faults on the KE can come from the heater, the thermistor or a damaged connection, and testing each one takes time and spares. This kit includes the ceramic heater block, heater, thermistor, heat break, 0.4mm nozzle and silicone sock, all pre-assembled and matched. Replacing the whole assembly removes the guesswork and gives you a known good hotend. It mounts in the existing Creality Hot End Heat Sink for Ender-3 V3 SE & KE, so the rest of your toolhead stays as it is.

Frequently asked questions about the Ender-3 V3 KE hot end kit

Is this the same as the Ender-3 V3 Ceramic Heating Block Kit?

No, this kit fits only the Ender-3 V3 KE. The CoreXZ Ender-3 V3 and V3 Plus use the Creality Ender-3 V3 Ceramic Heating Block Kit, part 4001030134, which has a quick-swap nozzle. The two look similar, so check your printer model before ordering.

Can it print nylon and carbon fibre filaments?

Yes, it reaches 300°C, which covers nylon, ABS and ASA. For carbon fibre and other abrasive filaments, the standard nozzle will wear quickly, so fit a hardened nozzle or consider the Micro Swiss FlowTech Hotend for Creality Ender-3 V3 KE if you print abrasive materials often.

My KE shows a heating error. Is the hotend definitely faulty?

Not always, so check the connections first. On the Creality forum, KE owners traced heating and Key 2509 sensor errors to loose connectors under hot glue, or a bent pin in the toolhead cable, which new hotends did not fix. Inspect the Creality Ender-3 V3 KE Hotend PCB connectors before replacing the kit.

How often does the hotend kit need replacing?

Replace it when you see recurring clogs, heating errors or a worn nozzle that cleaning does not fix. Printing mostly PLA, a hotend can last many months. Running abrasive or high-temperature materials daily wears it faster. After fitting a new kit, run a PID tune so the printer recalibrates temperature control.

Is local warranty and support available?

Yes, the kit carries Creality's manufacturer warranty, handled locally by our South African support team. If you are unsure whether you need the full hotend, the hotend PCB or just a nozzle, log a technical support ticket with your printer model and error message, and we will help you identify the right part.
