The MKS Robin E3 is a drop in replacement board for the Creality Ender-3, Ender-5 and CR-10 3D printers. This board is also an upgrade from the standard Creality board to a high performance silent board, because it features an ARM 32-bit processor, Trinamic TMC2209 silent built in stepper drivers and sensorless homing.

The firmware is preloaded onto the board so it is a drop in replacement, or rather a drop in upgrade.
