Servo motors are the Rolls-Royce of persision motion control. It has the best of both worlds, high speed and high positional accuracy. Servo motors consist of a 3 phase motor and a 220V driver. The driver reads the position of the motor via an encoder at the back of the motor and use this to calculate the motor currents required to accurately control the motor. These motors are widely used in CNC machines, printing machines, packaging machines, production lines and other automation fields.
