Materials and software
Filaments this plate handles
PLA prints cleanly with no glue at a typical hotend range of 190–220°C. PETG grips the textured surface without adhesive, usually around 230–250°C. TPU works well at reduced print speed. ABS and nylon both benefit from the higher 120°C bed ceiling available on the P2S, X1C and X1E, since the 100°C limit on an A1, P1P or P1S leaves less margin against edge lifting on larger parts; PETG or PLA remain the easier starting point on those machines.
Slicers and software
Bambu Studio is the native slicer across this entire printer range and already includes a textured PEI plate profile, so selecting the correct printer and plate before slicing keeps the first-layer settings matched to the surface. G-code generated for one compatible printer generally needs its start sequence and bed temperature checked before running on another, since machine-specific calibration values are not identical even where the plate is.
